Once there was a Snowman...

We have been getting alot of snow this year and Noah loves it. He has to go out and play in the snow everyday. He is so funny sometimes I don't think he has a concept of cold because I think he would stay out there all day if we let him. Jake and Noah made the snowman and Noah has to check on it at least 3-4 times a day to make sure he is alright. I dread the day when the snowman melts, Noah will definatly have a meltdown of his own.

sushezi?

My dad bought these sushi makers. So we got together for the first Stone Sushi making party. It was fun, the sushezi's actually worked quite well. The sushi was alright they say (I don't like sushi).

I hate pens!

First my couches now my comforter! I think I am going to get rid of all the pens in the house. We only have a few pens left and we try to keep them hidden or up high, but he found one and went right to work. The comforter was dry clean only and It cost more to dry clean it than I paid for it. So I called my mom and she told me to use hairspray and that got it out but now I have crusty hairspray on it. Oh well lesson learned no more pens!

Candy House

As some of you might know Noah loves "cannies" so we decided to make a ginger bread house. He was so excited to make a "cannie house" but really he was just excited to eat the candy.

Oh Christmas Tree

I have to post a picture of our first "real" Christmas tree. In the condo we only had a two foot tree and this year since we have a house we thought we would upgade to the nine foot tree.

Three Years Ago.

This week we celebrated our 3d anniversary. It has gone by so fast but at the same time it feels like we have been married so much longer. The last three years for us has been anything but boring. Jake has done 11 semesters of school (and counting). He has gone from a CNA to a LPN to a RN and almost has his BSN. We have been to 9 family reunions, had 1 baby (who is now a toddler) and have only moved once (thankfully). The last three years have been exciting, sometimes hard and at sometimes crazy but It has been the greatest. I love you Jake!

Pumpkin Night

On Monday night we had a pumkin family night. I made dinner in a pumpkin and then we carved pumpkins (well Jake carved them.) He carved two Kitty pumpkins because Noah loves kitties. I tried to take the easy way out and power drill stars into my pumpkin but as you can see it did not show up in the dark. Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch

We all went to the Pumpkin Patch today,it was so much fun. I have never been there before. Noah liked all the "pump-kin-ins" They had so much to do there there were a few animals mostly bunnies and chickens. A corn maze, playground and a little lighted haunted house. I think this might have to become a yearly tradition.

All moved in

We are in our new house! It has been a long time since I have updated, we have been cleaning, painting, and moving. We love our new house, it feels like a mansion compared to our condo. Noah loves the back yard. It's so nice to have a garage and not have to haul Noah and what ever around the building and down the stairs! The lighting is weird in the pictures. So if you want to see the rest of the house you will have to come and see it!

This is what happens when you move with a two year old. If you can't see the picture well there is pen all over my "old" couches. I was packing things in our condo and put on a movie for Noah and left into the next room to pack a box, I came back and Noah had found a pen and drew all over our couches on the cushions and all over the arm. I tried to remove it with hairspray it did not come out. Then I went to the furniture store and bought a leather cleaning kit with a ink remover and that took out some of the color of the leather but none of the ink. So we bought new couches which I love!

A House!!!!!!!!!!

We purchased our first "real" house last Friday. We got a good deal because it was a short sale. But short sale actually means really long sale. Just getting it was the biggest hassle, the real estate agents, getting the renters out ect... We closed a few hours before our deadline and had to pull teeth to get the renters and all of there stuff out before then. We even had to take 4 truck loads of just junk to the dump that the previous people living there had left. It is a beautiful house and has great potential. The house is only 3 years old but it was disgustingly dirty and just neglected. We have been working so hard for the last couple of days. Sometimes I think "what was I thinking getting myself into this?" and other times I am so excited. We are so thankful for my family and Jakes family for already helping us out so much we really couldn't do this without them. I am so excited to have a back yard for Noah. Our condo is just about to suffocate us and this house is more than twice as big with a garage! I will have so much space I won't know what to do with! The neighbors seem great we had eight different people come over and introduce themselves and offer to help us. And there are 4 boys under three that live within 150 feet of us! Hopefully we can get everything done and moved in the next month because we have someone moving into our condo then. We sure have our work cut out for us!

this picture does not give justice to how dirty the carpet was before we riped it out. It's only 3 years old!!

This is what the backyard looked like when we bought the house.

This is what the backyard looked like at the end of the second day. Jake worked so hard. Thanks so much to my dad, Brandon and Brock for helping!

"To Infinity and Beyond"

I have to give credit to the newest member of our family, Buzz Light Year. Noah got him for his birthday. Buzz goes with us almost everywhere! Noah LOVES Toy Story the movie. I am always amazed at how many times he can watch that movie and be totally in to it. Noah always says "to infinity and beyond" which sounds more like "to in-in-ity and be-on"and then proceeds to jump off whatever he is on or fly to the closest piece of furniture around. But I have to admit Buzz is a good babysitter when I want to get some things done around the house.

One Shoe Bandit!

Noahs right Shoe is always off! It doesn't matter what pair of shoes he is waring. Sometimes it just falls off, and if he is sitting anywhere for an extended amount of time he rips it off. (like in his car seat.) I can not count the number of times we are in the store and either someone says "oh he lost a shoe" or I notice and have to retrace my steps or go to lost and found to find a shoe. He is so used to it he does not even notice he lost it. I am so sick of putting on his right shoe over and over every day. My mom says that his left foot is bigger than the other and I should buy two pairs of the same shoe in a 2 different sizes. I thought about that and decided I don't want to pay double for every single pair of shoes I buy and end up throwing a pair away. So I guess he will continue to run around without a right shoe and I will always be finding and putting on a shoe.

Measom reunion

Last Saturday we had a Measom reunion up at the Ranch. We don't get to go up as often as we used to so it was fun to get to go up and spend time with family and get to play on the pond. Noah loved the paddle boats and Brandon even took him out on a canone.

Zoo

We went to the zoo on Noah's birthday. He loved riding on the CHOO-CHOO. The bird show was really cool. He liked all of the animals, but his favorite was a desert lizard.? anyway it was a fun little outing for Noah's birthday.

2 years old

I can't believe that Noah is 2! Wow the time has flown by. It is sad not to have a baby anymore he is now officially a toddler. Toddlers are fun too I guess. Here are some really cute pictures that I had taken for his 2 year old pictures.
