Done, not ready, but excited.

Well there is only a few more weeks until the big day! But But I want to be done! I want to be done with all the doctors appointments, the weekly ultrasounds and all the stress tests, the blood and urine tests! I am not posting a picture of myself pregnant because no one wants to see my swollen face, body and especially feet! (especially me!) Last week they told me to try to stay off my feet. Considering what I do for my job I have a three year old I told them I would do my best. We are so grateful that the little guy is healthy and still in there, we don't want him to come quite yet. Are we ready? No. We don't have a name, We don't have a nursery and considering what we did to get ready with Noah I feel so unprepared. I know that we have everything we absolutely need and its our second boy so we will be okay. There are just so many things I forgot about having a new born around and all the extra stuff they need. I am NOT ready for Jake to start graduate school on Monday. But we are excited to have this new baby, Noah seems to be excited for baby brother. I am excited for the spirit that a brand new baby brings into your home, I am excited to finally meet our new little guy!

Yay! I am excited for you! Hopefully everything is going OK. Do they think you have toxemia?? That's what I had with the twins and it wasn't fun! I am excited to see your new baby!
BTW- it's been way fun to have Jake play on our softball team! Hope he's having fun too.:)
Anyways, keep us updated and good luck!

Soon all the swelling will be but a memory! Hold in there. You just feel unprepared because of that crazy nesting instinct that about-to-pop mommies have, but just chill and enjoy your last weeks before you head to "Crazy Town". GOOD LUCK!

amen! I so didn't feel ready for our second to come either, but now that she's here I remember how easy newborns are compared to toddlers! and we didn't have a name for ours either till a couple days before she came. So you've got time. :) I hope your feet stop swelling and that everything goes well with his birth!

I LOL at the comic - totally been there. I was on my feet a lot, too, and the swelling was unbearable at times. But, as our wise older cuz said, it will soon be over with. Hang in there. We love you and miss you.
